Staples Cantilever Bedside/Side Table Mid-Century
This desirable yet practical Mid-Century side table was produced by Staples & Co., Manufacturers of Bedsteads and Bedding to H.M. The Queen.
The ply table top has been sanded, oiled and waxed to a beautiful finish. There are a couple of small bits of veneer missing on the edges but nothing drastic and to be expected of an item of this age and use (see pictures). The vinyl sleeve covering the bottom section of the legs was beyond repair so they have been cleaned and sprayed with a vivid orange colour and finished with 3 coats of clear lacquer
As well as looking good, this adjustable table is very practical and would have many uses in any modern home
