Unusual Recycled Vintage 50's Kitchen Unit on Hairpin Legs Etched Glass Windows
This is piece inspired by the lockdown, when it was difficult to get hold of materials. We set ourselves the challenge to create functional and visually arresting pieces of furniture using only what we had in the workshop. All materials used were recycled from other items or where already in stock in the workshop.
All elements have been cleaned and finished. The body was sanded lightly to keep the lovely pink and teal colours and patina and then finished with several coats of wax. The glass and handles are all original.
This quirky, unique cupboard would be at home in any room, with many possible uses - bathroom storage, TV unit, Kitchen cupboard etc.
